Chapter 7.4 Quest Licenses

Quest Licenses
Licenses can be set by an outposts control. Quest licences allow more specific quest controls where players can require a license to start a quest. This is useful for guilds or forms of government in communities that want to organize who can accept specific quests. Perhaps, newcomers will need to prove themselves with smaller tasks first, then are given or complete a quest for a licence as an automatic reward, which unlocks harder quests.

License Limitations
License creators can create them with expirations, which will notify the quest licence control when the time is up. An expired license will be visibly marked on the item itself for clarity. Creators can also set licenses with x number of use time limitations. These are great for limited quest permissions, and coupons. For example, a restaurant may offer a free meal for completing a quest, and it may require a type of one-use license. Limited use licenses will show how many times it was used when interacting with the item.

License Organization and Options
Players can craft different colors, and runic symbols to help players quickly decide meaning for it. Players can select pre-set flavor text words to see in the description, which can also include an outpost's name, and a map marker indicator of where it is linked to. (Map marker options are togglable upon crafting a license, in the case that an outpost wishes to be "hidden" from this feature. (Useful for crime based guilds/organizations.)

Licenses History
License controllers can see the history and stock of licensees, and how many licensees are still active at the controller's ledger.

Discarding Licenses
Players can discard/destroy licenses at any time. The controller will receive a notification that a license was destroyed.
