Chapter 4.4 Bulletin Boards

Bulletin Boards
Players can construct bulletin boards that can help guide players to threats. The soonest occuring appearing first by default. It will show location on the posting, and mark the location on the player's map if accepted. Active threats will have a icon indicator to show if players are already engaged in the fight, and if the monster is currently active.

Beacons
Land, vehicle, wildlife, and self claims can construct beacons. When players look at the sky, they will see the light to indicate in the distance which way to go, without having to look at the map.

Note: Player who accept quests at cannot move another claim's summoning circle, unless the player who owns the claim, or allowed players, moves it themselves.)

Bulletin Filters
Players can filter the threats between regular combat quests, or claims with with altars (to use crafts for appeasing). But players can still clear threats their own way. Crafting players can place their own temporary altars where altars are not available, (works if the monster has not already been aggroed). In places that already have altars, combat based players can just start combat whenever.

Accepting a Quest and Fleeing
If a player accepts a quest and flees, the monster will continue to attack the claim as they would normally. If a player is defeated, some spirit value taken will make the damage less.

NPC Hiring
NPC can be hired to participate in quests, or hired to complete quests, (but I assure you that they are likely not going to be as good as a player.) They may be good to hire for simple gathering quests, or for transport when linking to an NPC store. (NPC are covered more in depth in their own chapter.)
