Chapter 4.6 Monster Pacifism/Avoidance
Covers, Camouflage, and Charms
Players can strategize spirit and value stealth using repelling charms, or covers for storages. Incorrect camo for the terrain type may hide less or no values, so use a little common sense based on the area you are in. For example, a red (fire) cover will not work well in a green (forrest) ecosystem. This is the same for camouflage used in the middle of industrialized zones.
Visual Purpose of Spirit and Value Stealth
Repelling charms and camouflage in general, can create visuals for other players that help indicate desired monster activity, in two different ways. Players who utilize this can focus on other aspects of the game like crafting, engaging with the community, or traveling to far off lands with less worry about monster attacks, or for other strategies. You will see how much your efforts affect your spirit at your property hub.
Clothing vs Combative Loadouts
Each player will also be able to quickly swap and toggle between loadouts. These can be full equipment changes if you want them to be at a simple click of a button. The player's spirit will be the total equipment count, plus your inventory. This would include all sets on your character, not just the active one. Players can also equip passive, NPC-like clothing to negate some monster attention if they prefer to work on their farm, inn, fishing, or other crafts without much incident. As well as carrying or equipping repelling charms, equipment, and tools.
